This blog is a dedication to our babies, with love from daddy and mummy
Sarah will be 9 mths old soon, to be exact, on the 8th of February 2008 and it's time to renew her milk contract with mummy. The kind folks of various formula milk companies have kindly sent many free samples to assist mummy in weaning Sarah from breastmilk. Unfortunately, Sarah has not been very receptive in accepting formula milk. The most she's drank is probably 30ml. This little eating machine has finally found a food she dislikes! What to do.. To renew or not, that is the question. I wish it were elementary my dear!
The above chart is compliments from Fisher Price website. Sarah is currently between the stages of cruising and standing, though she seems to rather enjoy falling. My! my! Soon she'll be able to walk. Anyhow her crawling doesn't seem to good (she still uses her head as an extra support when moving forward; otherwise she'll 'cheat' by flipping towards the object), but perhaps Sarah's destined not to be one of the graceful crawlers. Hmmm, Mummy needs to change the earlier post on 28 Oct '07 from "Attempt to Crawl" to "I can crawl!" *heh heh*This evening, Sarah went to The Kids Clinic to test that the fever wasn't a symptom of the dreaded urinary tract infection. Thankfully the result was negative. Dr Lillian concluded that it is merely a fever infection from the influenza-A bug that is going around. *Whew* What a relieve! Nonetheless, daddy n mummy will continue to monitor Sarah's condition to ensure that the fever does not escalate further through the night.
Anyway, during the visit to The Kids Clinic, Sarah's face immediately lit up with happiness, and was back to her smily self the instant she saw Dr Lillian. Temperature when we left the clinic = 37.4c (normal). Price = $69. What a price to pay just because our baby missed the doctors' face *hmmz*
Teeth *sighs* We all thought that the fever was a result of Sarah going through the teething phase. Unfortunately, though Sarah's gums were red, Dr Lillian said that it doesn't look like there're any teeth sprouting anytime soon! Well, I guess Sarah won't have any teeth to help her chomp down on the CNY goodies.
Mummy's been training me to wear a hat, especially since the weather's so unpredictable these days. She thinks a hat will protect me from the hot sun, and kinda shelter my pretty head from the rain. But I hate wearing hats. This is a photo of Sarah, after umpteen attempts to remove it..
Sarah is so pleased when mummy praised her.
And in return, Sarah decides to stick out her tongue at mummy.. *Hmm*
See how nonchalent Sarah is, leaning back on her high chair whilst smacking poor Mr Duck. She barely flinched when Mr Puppy-Dog flipped right in front of her. *sighs* And she couldn't care less when Mr PD jumped off the table.. Oh dear oh dear..
