Studious Girl

Daddy tried to distract Sarah with the Olympics but it didn't work. Sarah prefers to read :)

Piglet with Blue Snout

Sarah learnt to do a "bulldog" grip with her teeth. She bites straws, bottles, caps etc, and is very proud of herself.. muahahaa.. She's gonna join the circus one day =)

Tree Top Walk

This morning, Papa brought a pregnant mummy, and a sluggish Sarah off to trek the HSBC tree top walk. The trail was trecherous, hot, sweaty, slippery, dangerous and whiney (that's the women). This post is a reminder to us not to go there again.

Slug Eating Nana

Sarah loves bananas. On this day, she was absolutely sluggish, wormy, wriggly whilst eating the nana.. Squishing the nana all over the sofa, pillow and clothes.. arghh..

To Kill a Mocking Bird

Sun Wu Kong

Sarah discovered that there are many interesting household items. One of them is the clothes pole for hanging up laundry. This is her best imitation of the Monkey God. On her terror days, she'll hold the pole above her head and do a war cry whilst running about..

Belly Button

Where's my belly button? Oh, is that mine?

Keropok

Can i eat this yummy looking keropok Grandpa bought for me? Pllllsssssssssssss....?

War Games!

On saturday, JiuJiu, Papa and Sarah decided to declare war! There was screaming, running, and plastic balls strewn everywhere! The war ended peacefully with Commander M yelling at everyone to go pick up all 200 balls in the rooms, kitchen, living room and even the dustbin!

Candid Camera!

Sarah stunned by the flash! Muahahaa!

Dramatic!

This is one of the moments when daddy & mummy aren't at their proudest being parents.

Sarah has hand, foot and mouth disease! And they didn't realise till days later!! =S

Unfortunately the earlier months of high alert during HFMD had been long forgotten by the parents. When Sarah woke up crying last wednesday morning, they thought she was just throwing a tantrum at her lazy sleepy parents. When brushing her teeth, they saw a hideous looking ulcer. It was followed by the fever in the late afternoon. Yet, daddy n mummy still didn't think of the HFMD! The fever that night went up to 38.8c!

Today's the 4th day. Sarah's fever has subsided. The spots are still there. So is that annoying ulcer. And guess what. Still didn't occur to the parents that its HFMD... Until Wan Ting ah-yi asked mummy to check for HFMD symptoms online. Argghhh!!!!!!!

Luckily the parents had been administering the right treatments (bringing the fever down, encouraging fluid intake, feeding her soupy soups, giving her liang-teh etc).

Hopefully the awful ulcer will go away tomorrow *fingers crossed*
