What a mess lunch was today!
Jiu jiu got more than he asked for by feeding Sarah porridge. For the record, it's his first time feeding a baby, so he does reckon that he did a goooood job.. Hmmmmz..
Notice that only half the porridge was going to Sarah's tum tum. The rest was around the mouth, dribbling down her chin and face, and even on her nose! There was also porridge on her fingers, on the bib, on her clothes, on the high chair, and on the floor!
Poor Aunty Yati got to clean up the mess after the feeding frenzy..

Seeing Is Believing
Today, baby Sarah performed a little trick for mummy to see. Whilst lying in her sarong playing with her pacifiers (aka refused to take her morning nap! And yes, she has got two, one in her mouth, and the other in her hands *SIGH* ) she used her right hand to take the pacifier from her left hand, and a little while later, passed the pacifier back to the other hand. This may sound easy peasy, but this is one of many motor skills a child has to develop. Being able to sit alone without becoming a humpty-dumpty, as well as being able to pass items around are usually performed by 90% of 7.5mth old babies. Mummy was so pleased to witness this amazing stunt, and quickly called to tell Daddy.. Yes yes, daddy has seen this trick before, but because mumny never encountered it, she did not really believe heh heh..
No no no, in case u jump into conclusions, Mummy n Daddy do not think Sarah is gifted, nor are they exerting any pressures to expediete Sarah's development. They do think its wonderful that Sarah is learning things quickly at her own pace.. and are thoroughly happy at watching her grow up :)
Strawberry Shortcake

Aunty Murray knows mummy loves Strawberry Shortcake, and she bought moi this cute darling umbrella! Isn't it so pretty! And it couldn't be given at a better timing! It rained after we left baby Joshua's first month birthday celebrations and I got to use it immediately! See, that's me on my Strawberry Shortcake mattress too after my warm bath.. So relaxed now..
Thank you Aunty Murray! *muacks*

My baby is ill!
Thankfully for the next two days she was relatively fine, in terms of temperament, except that she's looked a little tired and drowsy from the fever medication.. So its to slumberland for naps every 1.5hrs..
Our baby has now recovered and is now back to her normal cheery self again! She's playing, chewing, flipping, squealing and laughing.. Whew.. we're all glad that the worrisome episode is behind us now but what a scare it was for everyone!

Ouch!

Anyway our dear girl is 67 cm tall (75% percentile), and 6.8 kg heavy (50% percentile). This means she's longer rather than rounder.. Up and coming super model??
